On A Raining Night
Threatening to inundate the earth
With a sally of soaking rain
the night is bent on giving birth
to an unceasing throe of pain.

Through the all-devouring darkness
amid the monotonous breaking
of raindrops on solid hard surface-
cemetry for heaven bleeding-


I heard a wordless whisper of far
or was it just a silky dream
circling around my icy cold heart
loose on a rippling stream?


I tries to touch a blurry face
both intimate and forgotten,
while writing in a strange place
with the rain gathering force.
