Why Am I Here
More than one year has elapsed since the day I entered the university. Now, I am not a freshman any longer but a sophomore. Therefore I am supposed to have a sense to make something clearer in mind, especially that about my future. More often than not, I ask myself," Why am I here? Is it just a habit that I have developed during the year to carry a heavy school satchel and walk as if winged inside our campus every day?"
Generally speaking, a university is supposed to be a paradise of much help to make our dreams come true. But am I clear about my own dream? Then, I shudder to think of what the future holds in store for me. I am often at a loss just as a boat floating on the sea without any destination. I can not help doubting that I am only in pursuit of a conceptual dream. I find myself in a dilemma.
Perhaps, the learning moment comes quietly. Maybe it is time for me to make a long-run plan. At first, I have to force myself to give up some bad habits. However, as for me, the essential thing is to finger out what my dream is. I want to become an educator yearningly all along. To say the least, I envy the life of a teacher. But, then, teaching is not an easy thing. So from now on, I have to make every effort to realize the dream. Attitude, after all, is everything. A thousand-li journey begins with the first step. I believe that my dream will come true one day as long as I work hard.
Without knowing how long I have stayed here, I see a beautiful blue when I look up at the sky. Then I suddenly find my world clearer.
