Study Through College

I hold the idea that college students should study through college.

Nowadays, many college students are at sea, wondering how to get through college. As a result, many of them fool around the campus all day long and just play through college; meanwhile, another part of them desire of working experience and take their great pains to spend their spare time doing some part-time jobs; certainly, there are still some of them make prodigious efforts to get high scores and strive for intellectual training of college.

Admittedly, those who are devoted to part-time jobs may have ineffable difficulties which force them to work through college. Shall we respect those who rely on their own efforts to afford their college in order to alleviate burdens on their parents? It goes without saying that they will gain some social experience which is likely to be advantageous when facing their difficult future. At 21st century, it is so difficult for graduates to take up an occupation that when still in campus they are taking account of hunting for part-time jobs which will do contributions to their working experience. However, they will spend much time on part-time jobs and lose the best opportunities to study. What's more, it will be no longer than half a year after they graduate from the college to gain the so-called working experience. So it is not worthwhile to waste so much time on part-time jobs.

Additionally, it is of many possibilities that whose who choose to play through college lack of broad and long-ranged goals. As ships without destinations at the sea, those who play through college do not know what they should do in campus, hence they fool around the campus and seek for enjoyments all day. Without financial burden on shoulders, they need not to do part-time jobs, therefore, they can hunt for entertainments to their heart's content. But those students may feel regretful after graduation because they get nothing in campus.

Seeing that, I hold the idea that college students should study through college.Though working one's way through college has its values, it is not better than studying one's way through college, because college offers opportunities for the development of the mind and the enrichment of the soul, for the growing of bigger man. Let every student have the chance to get high education.
