Many years age,a workman lived in the south.He was in debts and needed money.He wanted to go to the north and earn money by cutting hay.On his way to the north, he was caught in a sudden storm in the mountains and he losted his way.He put up a tent, cooked his meal and began to eat.When he was eating, a brown dog came to his tent.The dog was dirty and wet. He gave some bread and meat to the dog.Then the big dog went out into the storm.The workman finished his supper and use his sawer for a pillow to went to sleep. Then late his dreams the strange dream.In his deam.In his dream,a tall wrinkled woman said:" My friend thank you for being so kind to my poor dog.Here is a sickle. I give it to you. I place it under your pillow.this sickle can cut down anything.The next morning, the man got up early. The storm was over and the sun is shining over brightly.He begin to put his things together.When he put aside the sadle, he find the small sickle under it.It was very old. The man thought about his dream.so he took it aside and set off to the north.At last he got there and went from house to house that he cannot find any work.After a while he met a farmer, the farmer told him about a strange woman.The farmer said that the she was very rich and believe that she knew magic.The man went to the rich woman's house and asked to work for her."I will hire you, but you won't take pay."she said"if you cannnot cut more hay than I can gether." He agree to try and use his sickle.He found it a good one. He worked hard with it.That night, he dreams the strange dream again.In the dream he met the same old woman that he met in the storming night ont the mountain.She said you can cut a lot of hay, but the old woman can get more hay than you can cut.and she will drive you away with out paying you.I will tell you what, go to the bord jar and get some more sickles.The quickly befor.The next day the man set to work. the rich woman came to the middle early in the morning.she was carrying five rakes.She said:" you cut a lot of hay,now you will see how fast hays should be cut.She spread five rakes on the hay.She took one of them and begin to cut hay.The other four rakes cut as much hay as she did.And now he understand she was defeat him.So he went to the forig.He spread them the hey and begin to cut hey.Then all of the sickles begin to work at once.They cut the hey so fast that the rakes can not keep up with them.In this way, they worked to sunset.The workman get fast than she can gather.As rested dot her.the woman tell the man to stop working."you are wiser than I." said the old woman," So I will give you your wages."The workman worked there for the whole summer, he cut a large mountain of hay.In the last, he got a planty of money to pay for his debts.
