Some employers give staff rewards when they have done really good jobs and money always is one of rewards for managers to make staff work harder. But sometimes the method might not be helpful because the
incentive may have a
negativeimpact on others.
Money is one of the main rewards for staff because people need money to be able to pay their cost of living and they have to buy food and water to live therefore everything needs money and money can satisfy all of their needs. It is useful to reward staff who can not afford to pay for their living. But it might not be helpful for managers to reward money to a staff who is able to satisfy his/her physical needs. Therefore money is not very effective method to make workers harder.
Not only money is a way of motivating staff but also it can have other better ways to motivate staff.
Staff often complain about their safety in a certain working condition in many countries. Because some firms can not ensure staff to provide security in their working condition. For example, dangerous machines are still be used by workers in some countries. When their working condition is improving, staff are motivated therefore productivity increases gradually.
Holidays can be given to staff when they are doing well therefore it makes them feel like that they are needed and play an important role in the business.
In my opinion, there are many
efficient method which can make staff well-motivated if the business use them in a proper way.
