I had never realized the deep love from my father until one rainy day in my senior school. My father is the kind of person who is not good at expressing his emotion to us children. As a result, I did not understand my father.

My mother had promised to see me on Sunday. However, with rain pouring, my father came instead. Unluckily, I forgot our appointment. My father without doubt had to wait for me in the heavy rain. Finally, he became so worried about me that he asked my schoolmate to call me. As I ran to him, I had thought what was waiting for me would be inevitably his blame. To my surprise, I found him relieved at the sight of me. With gentle looks, he handed me the necessities I needed and softly enjoined me to take care of myself. I felt so warm in my heart that tears unexpectedly ran down. My father murmured a few more words and began to go back. Making his way to the bus stop in his wet clothes, he left me a figure full of special meaning.

It was from that day that I began to look at my father from a new perspective. Absolutely different from mum' love, his had been hidden deep in his heart. As I got to understand him, I was happy it wasn't too late.
