TEACHING PROCEFURES
Step 1 Revision
Revise the dialogue in Lesson 33.
Step 2 Lead-in
Show the students some pictures.( on the screen)
Step 3 Presentation
1. The teacher's brief introduction:Today we will deal with the three most serious problems the earth has --– earth problem , air pollution, and water pollution.
2. Get the students to read the passages silently to get a general idea.
Step 4 Reading
Get the students to read the passages again and deal with the passages separately with the help of some pictures.
Step 5 Consolidation
Ask the students to do some exercise about the passages to consolidate what they have read.
Step 4.Discussion
Think of the question : 1)Are we causing damage to the earth?
2)What damage are people doing around us?
3) Take Fenshui river for example to discuss.
Homework
Ask the student to write a short passage.
