Teaching procedures:
Step1. Warming up
Task1: talk something about Newton and his discoveries
Task2: try to match the discoveries or inventions with the pictures.
Task3: learn each of the scientist and their inventions or discoveries
Step2. Pre-reading
Try to match the discoveries with how they were discovered?
Step3. Reading
Task1: Read the text and check your guesses from Exercise 2.
Task2: read the text again and decide whether the statements are true or false and explain them.
Step4. Word building
Match the categories (a-e) with the examples from the text (1-5). Then add examples of your own.
Step5. Language points
Get students find out the difficult points first and then study them.
Step6. Homework
