1. Think about the following questions:

summarize the items Colin wants to take on his holiday.

2. Compare your answers with the items listed in Part B. Consult each other or the dictionary
wherever meeting with difficulties.
3. Pay attention to your
pronunciation and spelling.
4. In pairs ask each other questions and try to explain the reasons why these items are necessary for an adventure trip.
You may begin your conversation like this: What items has Colin packed? Do you think candles are necessary? And the other may answer: Of course they are,especially at night when there is no electricity.
5. Please read the letter in Part C. Try to understand the letter first and then choose the proper words to make the letter meaningful.
