Leading in by pictures
After enjoying all those festivals in our last unit, we shall go to the theater today to entertain ourselves by reading, watching and acting the play of The necklace.
Now work together with your partner. Look at the pictures on page 15/on the screen and use them to make up a story about the boy and girl.




Attention! I’d like to invite a pair of you to act out the imagined story in front of the class.

Task 1: Listening and ticking.
Ok, now listen to a short play and you are to choose and tick the correct answer on page 15. Each scene will give you a clue that you can use to solve the mystery.

Task 2: Creating and acting a short play.
Work in groups and choose one of the situations on page 16. Create a short play and act it out in your group.

Homework: Prepare the Reading passage
Closing up by putting on a play.
