Step I Revision (7 mins)
Ask students to show their famous
cultural sites in China.
Step II Pre-reading (5 mins)
Show some other pictures to attract the students and then use the three questions in Pre-reading on Page 45 to lead in the text The students may think that the first question is difficult to answer. But after
reading the text, they will find this is a good question. It makes us learn that to know the history of a city is the most important thing for a visitor.

Qs: Where is the city located? Who built it at first? Who destoryed it and at last who rebuilt it?
