Step 1 Review 第一步 复习(时间:10分钟)
检查作业。谈论饮茶,学习生词。
1. (学生做英语值日报告,活跃气氛,使学生的思维直接进入主题,检查作业。)
T: Class begins. Who’s on duty today?
S1: I am on duty. Today is …
(汇报日期、天气、出勤。介绍朋友对中国象棋的爱好情况,以及自己在网上查到的有关中国象棋的资料。)
2. (学生互动练习,相互了解对方是否喜欢中国象棋,抽若干组在班上汇报。)
T: Very good. S1, sit down, please. Next, please make a conversation with your partner.
Example:
A: Hello, Li. What are you going to do?
B: Nothing. Why?
A: Would you like to play chess with me?
B: Why not? I’d like to. I like it very much.
3. (由学生爱好象棋过渡到另一爱好——饮茶。教师亦可用多媒体展示茶的介绍,比如怎样沏茶、茶道等。)
T: OK, some of you like playing chess. Do you like drinking tea?
Ss: Yes./No.
T: Do you know the history and
culture of tea? Please talk about it in groups. Then I will ask several to report to the class.
Group 1: We know there are two kinds of tea: black tea and green tea. Tea can lift our spirits so that we can work better. And it’s good for our health.
Group 2: From TV, I know tea has a long history. It’s said that China is the homeland of tea.
Group 3: And we also know tea is popular in foreign countries.

T: You did a very good job. If you want to know more about tea, let’s learn 1a. First you have to learn some new words:

学习1a,培养学生的阅读、分析能力。

T: Listen to the tape, please. Don’t look at your books. Mark True or False for these sentences.

练习连词的用法,完成2。
