5． 现在进行时，主语+am, is, are doing (现在分词)

2）Mirror
Tom is looking at the mirror with his eyes closed. His mother asks him, “why are you looking at the mirror with your eyes closed?
Tom answers, “I just want to see what I look like when I’m asleep.”

6． 过去进行时 主语+was, were doing (现在分词)
1) What were you doing when your wife came home yesterday evening?
昨天晚上你妻子回来的时候你正在干什么？
I was watching TV with my son. 我正和我的儿子看电视。
2) Five flies
On Sunday evening, a husband was beating flies and his wife was knitting a sweater. The wife asks her husband, “ you have been busy beating so long, how many have you beaten?”
“Five, three males, two females.”
The wife was very surprised:“ How do you distinguish males from females?”
“It’s very easy, the three ones on the razor are male and the other two ones on the dressing table must be female.
五只苍蝇
星期日的晚上，丈夫在打苍蝇，妻子在织毛衣。
妻子问丈夫：“你忙活打了这么长时间，你已经打了多少只？”
“五只，三只公，两只母的。”
妻子很惊讶：“你怎么能辨别出公的和母的？”
“很容易，落在剃须刀上的那三只是公的，落在梳妆台上的那两只一定是母的。”

7． 现在完成时， 主语+have, has +done(过去分词)
1) Teaching is not only a pleasure for me, it has become a necessity. No matter how many other things I have in my life, if I cannot give myself to my dear teaching, I am miserable.
教学对我来说不仅是一种愉悦，它已经成为一种必须。不管在其它方面我有多富有，如果我不能教我心爱的课，那么我就是一贫如洗。
2) Television is one of the means by which these feelings are created and conveyed-and perhaps never before has it served so much to connect different peoples and nations as in the recent events in Europe.
　 电视是表达和传递感情的手段之一，在加强不同民族和国家之间的联系方面，电视或许还从未像在最近的欧洲事件中那样发挥过如此大的作用。
3) Raving 胡言乱语
