Spain is great! We’re staying at a hotel in a small town near Barcelona. It is very pretty and there are lots of churches. The people here are very friendly. Spain is very different from America. The shops are not open all day. They close for a few hours every afternoon, because it’s very hot at that time and nobody can work. Yesterday, it was a special holiday. There was a big festival and everyonecelebrated on the streets. Tomorrow we are going to see the sights in Barcelona.
