T: The summer holidays are coming. There are many places of interest in China and in the world. It is a good time for traveling. On page 85, there are four students, who are they?
Ss: Kangkang, Jane, Maria and Michael.
T: Listen to 1a, find out their favorite places to travel.
S1: Kangkang wants to go to England.
S2: Michael plans to go to Australia.
S3: Maria wants to go back to Cuba.
S4: Jane would like to visit some places of interest in China.
T: Well done! They each has a good plan for holidays. I hope you all have a good time.

T: Group work. Work in groups of four. One acts as Kangkang, one Jane, one Michael, another Maria. Act out the
dialog in 1a.

T: Work in pairs and discuss your traveling on holidays.
3. (巩固并复习重点句型。分四组, 举行造句比赛。完成1b。)
T: In 1a, there are five important sentences as follows:
