2.Ask students to say the numbers from 1 to 31and write them down on the blackboard.

1.Guide students to answer how many days are there in a month and how many months are there in a year. And ask students what they are in Chinese.
2.Write the English names on blackboard then read them one by one and get students to repeat over and over again until they can read fluently.
3.Ask a student to stand and answer the Chinese when his/her birthday is, then write the new words ‘when’ and ‘birthday’ down and give the Chinese then read them get students to repeat.
4.Have students read the words in 1a then invite several students to read individually others listen and correct the wrong pronunciation.
1.Answer: There are 30 or 31 days in a month and 12 months in a year.
And answer the month names from 一月to十二月
