本周是3月12日至3月18日历史上发生的事件。 | | On the 14th of March 1883 Karl Marx, the German philosopher died and on the same day in 1879 Albert Einstein, the German born Swiss physicist and mathematician was born. Both men were of Jewish origin and both were born in Germany.
Karl Marx was a 19th century philosopher, political economist, and revolutionary and is often called the father of communism. Marx was both a scholar and a political activist. He addressed a wide range of political as well as social issues, but is best known for his analysis of history, summed up in the Communist Manifesto which was published in 1848.

| | Albert Einstein is best known for his theory of relativity and specifically mass-energy equivalence, E = mc2. Einstein received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics, for his services to Theoretical Physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect. |
