1.look around "四处看看，环视四周"，既可作及物又可作不及物动词。

around是副词，可与round换用。

Don't look around.Look ahead.不要东张西望，往前看。

2.look down on/upon"看不起，轻视"，后接表示人的名词或代词。

I don't think it is right to look down on the poor.我认为看不起穷人是不对的。

3.look forward to"希望，盼望，期望"，to 是介词，后接名词、代词或动名词。

6.look up"抬头看，向上看，查（字典）"，

He looked up and saw a bird flying over.他抬起头来看，看见一只鸟飞过来。
