Passengers seem to be quite satisfied with the subway.
Beijing's inhabitants appreciate its speed, and foreigners find it easy to use, as many signs are written in Chinese, pinyin and English. 
Anyway, no matter what happens between now and 2008, the subway will always be the place to read the newspaper or to chat with one's friends.
