双休日的时候，老师让我们写一个小公民的成长故事。在这里，我有两件事想要说，第一是我在地铁里给乞讨的人捐钱，第二是给地震灾区捐钱。
　　先说说在地铁里的故事吧。我一般都坐地铁去上舞蹈课，在地铁里经常会遇见乞讨的人，他们有的皮肤被烧坏了，有的胳膊腿瘸了，有的看不见，有的年纪大到都快走不动了......他们在地铁里游走，靠乞讨过日子。在这些人中，有的会唱歌，有的会兜售一些小玩意儿。刚开始，我都没想过给他们钱，可是爸爸老给，但也从没讲过为什么要给他们钱。我现在觉得他们够可怜的，吃不饱穿不暖，所以后来基本上每次坐地铁，我碰见乞讨的人都会给他们捐钱。
　　再来说第二件事吧。去年我给地震灾区捐了钱，虽然不多，但都是我每天把吃冰棍的钱攒下来的。四川地震发生以后，我在学校先捐了一百多，后来又捐了74块钱。我觉得那里的人有的没房子住，有的孩子没了爸爸妈妈，真可怜。
　　我想，能不能盖一座房子，放在信封里给灾区的人寄过去。不过我担心，能不能找到这么大的信封，也许得把我们这里所有的纸都连起来才行。我还担心，他们那里有没有那么大的信箱，来收我给他们寄的房子。
On the weekend, the teacher asked us to write about the growth of a little child. Here, I want to mention two things about me, one is giving money to beggars in the subway; the other is donating money to the disaster area.
Let me tell you the story in the subway. I usually take subway to the place where I have my dancing class and often I will meet some beggars there. Some of them are the victims of a big fire, some of them have problem with their legs, some of them are blind and some of them are too old to walk on their own.... They wander around in the subway and live on begging money from the passengers. Among them, some are able to sing and some are peddlers. At the very beginning, I haven't thought of giving money to them. However, my father always does so but he never tells me why. I gradually have my sympathy for them because they live such a tough life. Now I will give money to them whenever I see them in the subway.
Let me move on to the next one. Last year, I donated to the earthquake-stricken area. Though it was not a big sum, I accumulated it for quite a long time by saving my pocket money. After the earthquake in Sichuan, I donated 100 yuan in the school and later 74 yuan in addition. People there suddenly became homeless and some kids lost their parents. How pathetic!
I even have an idea of building a house and posting it to the disaster area in envelop. However, I worried that we have to put together all the paper we have to make such a big envelop and there might not be so big mailbox for them to collect it.
