今天下午，爸爸带我去一个不知名的湖边观察鸟类。我们沿着湖边的小路边走边看，心情非常愉快 。
　　观察的距离大约是40米，我们把望远镜架在岸边，沿着湖边的树丛仔细搜寻，终于在湖边发现了一只小鸟。它的体型小巧玲珑，还有一对活泼机灵的眼睛和一双轻快的翅膀。

This afternoon, my Dad took me to a nameless lake to observe the birds living there. We watched and walked along the bank, and felt very happy.

We observed about 40 meters away from these birds. We put up our telescope on the bank and searched in the lens and finally found a little bird beside the lake. It was small in size but had sharp and clever eyes and a pair of light wings.

　　这只鸟的背部是蓝色的，胸部呈灰色，头部是蓝绿色的，面颊上还有一簇白毛。爸爸经常拍这种鸟，所以我知道它的名字叫"翠鸟"。我还看到过它捕鱼的照片，但是，我们今天观察了很久，它却只是站在树枝上四处张望，并没有下水捕鱼，有点遗憾。
　　在课堂上，我学过《翠鸟》这篇课文，所以我比较熟悉这种鸟类，但那只是课文里写的，今天我才真正看到了它的样子。

The back of the bird was blue, its breast was orange and the feather in the head was mixed with blue and green colors with a bunch of white hair on the face. Dad always took photos about this kind of bird, so I knew its name was kingfisher. I saw a picture when this bird was catching fish. However, it was a pity that today it was just looking around on a twig and did not have any intention of fishing, though we had observed it for quite a long time.

On the class, I learned an article named Kingfisher, so I was comparatively familiar with this kind of bird. But today I saw a real one, which made me know it better.
