五一长假期间，妈妈带我去临沂雪山彩虹谷游玩。
       下了车，我们沿着雪莲湖畔的小路来到彩虹门，彩虹门两侧写着"不经历风雨，怎能见彩虹。"我想："我倒要看看要经历怎样的风雨才能见到彩虹。"于是我跟着妈妈走了进去，刚进去就有一个人给我们每人一把黄色的大雨伞，原来里面正下着倾盆大雨。我觉得很奇怪，外面阳光明媚，里面怎么会下起大雨来了呢？突然，我发现小路两边的石壁上有许多交替的管子，都在往下喷水，原来是人工造雨呀！我们爬到山顶回头望，看见了美丽的七色彩虹。原来，这就是"经历风雨，见到彩虹"的过程啊。
       接下来我们去了滑草场。我们走上一个小亭子，一位叔叔推着好几个大盆子走了过来，一开始我觉得特别害怕，后来看见妈妈滑下去后安然无恙，我也跃跃欲试，坐在一个盆子里闭着眼睛滑了下去，瞬时间脑子里一片空白，心像要飞出来一样，再睁开眼睛时就已经在底下了。实在是太刺激了。
       雪山彩虹谷给我留下了欢乐，我喜欢雪山彩虹谷。

During the May Day holiday, my mom took me on a trip to the Snow Mountain and Rainbow Valley scenic area of  Linyi.
Once we got out of the car, we followed a path along the Snow Lotus Lake to the Rainbow Gate. Written on both sides of the gate were the words, "Without experiencing wind and rain, how can one see the rainbow?"  I thought, "I'd really like to see just what kind of wind and rain I have to experience in order to see a rainbow."  So I followed my mom in. As soon as we entered, there was a person handing out big yellow umbrellas to everyone, because inside of the door, it was in the middle of a downpour. I thought it so strange – it was bright and sunny outside, so how could it be raining so hard inside? Suddenly, I saw pipes running along the stone walls on both sides of the path, spraying water down below. It turns out that the rain was all man-made! We climbed to the top of the mountain and when we looked back, we saw a beautiful rainbow. So that's what "experiencing wind and rain to see a rainbow" meant.
Then we went to a dry slope skiing area. We went into a pavilion, where we saw a man walk in pushing a bunch of big sleds. I was terrified at first, but after seeing my mom slide down safe and sound, I was itching to have a try. I sat down on a sled and slid down with my eyes closed.  My mind went totally blank for an instant, and it felt like my heart was going to fly out of my chest. But when I opened my eyes again, I was already at the bottom of the slope. It was so exciting.
I was so happy at the Snow Mountain Rainbow Valley. I like the trip very much.
