On the morning of the third day of the lunar New Year, Mom said to me, "Xiangxiang, we'll go to visit your Grandma's brother in Pingyuan with your elder brother and younger sister." At these words, I cried out in my heart, "Great!"
过了十分钟，舅舅来接上我们，大家一起乘车踏上了去往平原的行程。一个小时后，我们来到了舅姥爷家，刚放下东西，我们就迫不及待地往外跑，在野地里玩了起来。After about ten minutes, Uncle came to pick us and soon we were on our way to Pingyuan. After an hour's drive, we arrived. As soon as we put down our packages, we rushed out to the field and played happily.
下午五点多，我们返回德州，来到姥姥家。闹闹哥哥送给我一个电动飞机当做新年礼物，这架飞机小巧玲珑，颜色鲜艳。而且机速非常快。飞机遥控器上有两个键，一个可以使飞机上下飞，一个可以让飞机在空中旋转。哥哥告诉我要慢慢地让飞机起飞，要不然容易撞到屋顶。我很喜欢这架飞机，不一会儿就能操纵自如了。At a little past five in the afternoon, we were back at Dezhou and came to the Grandma's house. Brother Naonao gave me an electric plane as a New Year gift. It was a bright-colored small gadget, which could fly at a high speed. There were two buttons on the remote controller, one was to make the plane fly up and down and the other was to make it circle in the air. Brother asked me to fly the the plane slowly when it took off, in case it would hit against the roof. I was so fond of the plane and able to control it easily in a few minutes.
吃过晚饭，舅舅带我们下楼放礼花。舅舅先拿出花炮，把它放到别人放完后剩下的炮筒里，然后将卷着的芯拉出来，小心翼翼地用打火机点燃。霎时，炮筒里飞出一个大光球，在空中爆炸，变成无数小光球飞上高空，化成一颗颗闪亮的流星四散而落，非常漂亮。哥哥又拿出一大包响鞭放到凳子上，拿出一根点燃，响鞭伴着飞溅的火星劈里啪啦地响了起来。谁知，这一根响鞭与刚才那包距离太近，溅起的火星点燃了整包响鞭，发出了巨大的响声，等响声平息以后，我们过去一看，凳子上全都黑了，好险呀！After supper, Uncle took us downstairs to set off fireworks. He first took one firework out, put it in a used paper barrel left by others, pulled out the fuse and carefully lit it. In a slip second, a big light ball flew out of the barrel and exploded in the air. Then it changed into numerous small light balls scattered highly in the sky, forming a great number of brilliant shooting stars. How beautiful it was! Bother also took out a big package of firecrackers and lit it. Followed were spattering cracking sparks. The whole package of firecrackers was lit by some sparks because it was too close to the firework we had just set off and thus it gave forth a louder noise. We found the bench holding the package was all burnt black after the sound died away. How close!
