今年我六岁半了，这六年多来，爸爸妈妈一直关心我、照顾我，为我付出了很多很多。
我喜欢读书，妈妈就给我买了很多书，像《西游记》、《水浒传》、《我们爱科学》，每天中午、晚上妈妈都给我讲故事，她讲得很有感情，我特别喜欢听。每星期妈妈都带我去书店看书，还给我办了两个学校图书馆的借书卡，我就能自己去借喜欢看的书了，我非常开心。
前两天我的牙掉了，不能嚼硬东西，妈妈就给我买了香甜的面苹果，并削成一块一块的，让我叉着吃。有了妈妈的关爱，我的牙仿佛就不疼了。
星期六，我穿的衣服都脏了，爸爸就让我都换下来，放在洗衣机里，给我洗衣服，有很脏的地方，他就用手搓，我看到他的手都红了。
爸爸妈妈这么照顾我，我也要关心他们。有一次，妈妈很累，躺在床上不想动，她说："翔翔，你去买包子吧。"我就拿着钱来到小区门外，排了好长时间的队，买了十个包子，回到家，我让妈妈起来吃包子，妈妈夸我长大了。
我的每一步成长都包含着父母的心血，我要学会感恩，尽自己最大的努力去报答他们。
This year I'm six and a half years old. During my life, my mum and dad have done a lot for me.
I love to read. Mum always buys me lots of books, like Journey to the West, Heroes of the Marshes and We Love Science. Every day she reads me stories full of emotion, which makes them very exciting. On the weekend, mum takes me to the bookstore or library so that I can find any book I like. It's great.
Two days ago my tooth fell out and I couldn't bite hard things. To help, mum bought me some apples which were soft and delicious. She even cut them into pieces for me to eat. With love from my mum, my mouth doesn't hurt anymore.
On Saturday my clothes looked really dirty. Dad asked me to take them off and give them to him. He threw some in the washing machine, but to remove the stain on clothes he needed to scrub so hard that his hands turned bright red.
Mum and dad look after me really well, and I want to take care of them. I remember once when mum was really tired, just laying in bed not wanting to move. She said to me, "Xiangxiang, go and buy some steamed dumplings." I left our compound with money in my hand and after queuing for a long time, bought ten steamed dumplings. When I returned home, mum said I had grown up.
Every step I take towards growing up comes from my parent's efforts. I will try to be more thankful in future, and let them know I love them.
