静夜思

Chuáng qián míngyuè guāng,

床前明月光，

yí shì dì shang shuāng.

疑是地上霜。

Jǔ tóu wàng míngyuè,

举头望明月，

dī tóu sī gùxiāng.

低头思故乡。

诗词评析：
 "举头"是抬头的意思。
皎洁的月光透过窗户照到了床前，那冷冷的幽光让人在恍惚中以为是地上铺了一层白皑皑的霜。抬头遥望格外明亮的秋月，不禁思念起了故乡而渐渐低下了头。
在古典诗歌中，明月历来都是思念的象征；秋夜因为天气转冷，更容易使人怀念家中的温暖；而夜深人静之时，也往往是人们最可能产生思念家乡、思念亲人的愁绪之时。这首诗写的就是在夜深人静的秋夜，明亮、清冷的月光引发了一个背井离乡的人对故乡的思念，使他夜不成寐。

"举头(jǔtóu)" means raising one's head.
The bright moonlight shines in front of my bed through the window. The cold gloomy light is suspected to be a layer of hoary frost covering the ground in a trance. Raising my head, I look up at the extraordinarily bright autumn moon; as I tilt back my head, I can't help thinking of my home.
In the ancient poems, the bright moon has been a symbol of nostalgia. As the weather gets cold, the night in the autumn can easily reminds people of the warmth at home. Thus, it is the time for people to yearn for their hometown and families. This poem just depicts a person who can't fall asleep in such a still night because he misses his hometown far away so much after seeing the bright and cold moonlight cast around.
