语言点Language Point
1、小数的表达法 Chinese Expression of Decimals
汉语中,小数的表达格式是"A点B",其中,A是整数,B是小数,"点"是小数点的读法。如故事里的"9.5",就应该读成"九点五"。
In Chinese, people use "A点B (A diǎn B)" to express decimals. "A" represents the integer and "B" stands for the fractional part. "点(diǎn)" refers to the decimal point.
如果小数点后面有不止一个数字,那么每一个数字应该分开来读,如"1.223"应该读作"一点二二三"。
If there is more than one figure behind the decimal point, then the decimal part should be read one by one. For example, "1.223" is read as " yī diǎn èr èr sān".
2、一点 a little/a bit
汉语中,数量短语"一点"的意思是"数量少,而且不确定"。它可以在形容词的后面作状语,表示"程度轻"的意思。如:
In Chinese, the phrase "一点(yī diǎn)" means "a small number or amount", and very often the speaker is not sure about the amount. It can be used as an adverbial to modify the adjective, indicating a smaller degree. For example:
声音大一点儿,我听不见! Speak up! I can't hear you.
故事里,妈妈就把弟弟说的"比他多一点"理解成了"比他多,但是多不了多少"。
In the story, the mother misunderstands the younger brother's reply "比他多一点" as "he got more points than his elder brother, but not many".
有时候,"一点"中的"一"也可以省略:
Sometimes, "一" in"一点" can be omitted.
