        一位男生暗恋一位每天放学都会遇到的女孩，但一直没有机会接近。
        一天，他跟踪女孩到一家面馆，终于鼓起勇气跟她说话:"小姐！你叫什么？"
        女孩:"牛肉面。"
A boy had a crush on a girl he met every day after school, but he had no chance to get to know her.
One day, he followed her to a noodle house and mustered his courage to talk to her: "Hello, 你叫什么(nǐ jiào shén me) (Can I have your name)?"
However, to his surprise, the girl answered: "I want beef noodles."

短文中，这个男生本来想问女生的名字，"你叫什么？"，而恰恰是在面馆，所以这句话被那个女生理解成了"你想点什么饭？"
In this short story, the boy used "叫(jiào)" to ask for the girl's name with the question "你叫什么(nǐ jiào shén me)"(What's your name). But because the conversation took place in a noodle house, the girl misunderstood the question here as the elliptical way of asking "你叫什么(饭)？(What do you want to order)", and thus replied "I want beef noodles" accordingly.
