金本位制的中文解释

货币能以固定的比率兑换黄金的货币制度。在金本位制度下，中央银行必须有能力以黄金兑换已发行的全部本国货币。 在采用金本位的国家之间，货币之间的兑换率是固定的，按各自兑换黄金的比率计算得出。 绝大多数发达国家在第二次世界大战结束之前已放弃了金本位制。

A monetarysystem of fixed exchange rates whose parities were set in relation to gold. Under the system, central banks had to be able to exchange gold for any amount of their currencies. Most developed countries had abandoned the gold standard before the end of the Second World War.
