复合期权的中文解释

指以期权为标的金融工具的期权。复合期权给予持有者在某一约定日期以约定价格买入或卖出一份期权的权利。投资者行使复合期权后，便会持有或卖出一份标准的期权。复合期权可作为高杠杆投资的工具，投机者只需较少的资金便可买入复合期权，随后再看是否投入更多的资金来买进复合期权的标的期权，最后再决定是否花钱买进最终的标的金融工具。

An option on an option. It grants the holder the right to buy or sell an option at a set price on a predetermined date. If the first option is exercised, the underlying option will then behave as a standard option. Compound options offer the opportunity of highly geared investment. Speculative investors lay down relatively little amounts of cash for the compound option and can then decide whether to lay out more cash to buy the underlying option, and finally can decide whether to lay out the cash to buy the underlyingfinancial instrument.
