The problem for Apple is that even as its China sales grow, its market share is shrinking.

In the second quarter, it had 38% of the market for phones costing 3,000 yuan ($473) and above, compared with 44% a year earlier, according to data from Analysys. In contrast, Android's share rose to 59% from 41% over the same period.
