The first torchbearer Hu Gangjun carries the flame to start the torch relay in Baotou, a city in northern China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Wednesday, July 9, 2008.

(Xinhua 2008-07-09 15:21:31)--The Beijing Olympic torch relay in Baotou concluded at Alading Square at 14:55 p.m. on Wednesday in northern China's Innner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The torch will leave for the next relay city Chifeng, the birthplace of Hongshan culture.
