Teaching Aims:
1. Knowledge aim:
Students should grasp the new words and expressions as well as the main idea of the dialogue.
2. Ability aim
Students should make a dialogue by themselves according to the textbook.
3. Emotion aim
Try to study hard and work hark.
Language Focus:
1. Passive voice: be done
2. New words and useful expressions: be back, must be, solve, in many ways, have a look, one of, best-seller, be interested in.
Teaching Procedures:
a) Organizing the class
Greetings and a duty report.
b) Revision
To dictate the words learnt.
c) Leading-in
T: There have some famous people in the world, or in a country, or in a city, or only in a school. These people are known by most of us and we talk about them very often. There also have famous people in different fields, eg. Famous singers, famous politicians, or maybe they are famous for a book, etc. (write " be famous for " on the blackboard) Which famous person do you know? What do you know about him or her?
Get the students to talk about famous people.
T: Good, you seem to know a lot about those famous people, today we're going to learn about a famous person who is connected very close with computers. Can you guess who he is?
d) Presentation
play the tape for the students to listen and read the dialogue, explain some difficult words and useful expressions.

First, read the dialogue in pairs; then make conversations of their own, and act them out.

1. To make sentences with the following phrase.
one of, It seems, be interested in, I'm sure.
2. To find more information about Bill Gates or computer technology.
3. Do exercises on page 109.
h) Summary
Fill the blanks with proper prepositions:
