Measures taken to ensure smooth college entrance exam

(CCTV 06-06-2008 19:30) Arrangements have been made to minimize the influence of the earthquake on the tens of thousands of students taking their college entrance examinations this summer.
On Friday, the Ministry of Education said that though some exams will be postponed, it is not yet known when they will be rescheduled. Meanwhile, a series of arrangements have been made to ensure the safety of the 420,000 students in Sichuan who are going to take college entrance exams this weekend, along with their peers from other parts of the country.
Emergency plans have been made for students and teachers in case another earthquake strikes. Evacuation drills were also held.
