英文： China to buy 70 Boeing aircrafts

BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhuanet) -- The China Aviation Supplies Import & Export Group Corporation (CASGC) signed a general purchase agreement with Boeing to buy seventy B737-700/800 aircraft here on Sunday, the biggest purchase agreement in China's aviation history.



The catalog price of the aircraft purchase agreement was about 4 billion US dollars and the planes will be delivered to eight leading Chinese airline companies between 2006 and 2008.



Sunday's purchase agreement will promote Sino-US economic and trade development. Since China bought the first Boeing aircraft B707 in the 1970s, the total Boeing aircraft bought so far reached 534, occupying two thirds of China's fleet, said Yang Guoqing, vice minister of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China.

11月20日，藉美国总统布什访华之机，中国航空器材进出口集团公司（简称"中航材"）在北京与美国波音公司签订了购买70架B737－700和B737－800飞机的框架协议，这是中国民航史上购买飞机架数最多的一单协议。



据了解，这批波音飞机的目录价格为40亿美元，将于2006年至2008年期间交付，供8家中国航空公司使用。



民航总局副局长杨国庆说,此次中方购买70架波音飞机对促进中美经贸发展、中国自上世纪70年代购买第一架B707飞机开始，目前共购进波音飞机534架，占购买飞机总数的2/3左右。
