Module 3 Plans Unit 1 教案设计
一、教学内容
Module 3 Unit 1 What are you going to do at the weekend?通过讨论周末要做的事情,学习用Be going to do sth.结构表达自己打算或计划要做某事,并学会记日记。
二、教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
1.词汇及短语: plan, revise for a test, have a picnic
2.语法:Be going to+动词原形表达一般将来时。
3.功能及话题:谈论周末计划要做的事情。
(二)能力目标
1.通过听说练习,提高学生的听力、口语表达能力及交流合作能力。
2.通过用所学词汇及短语完成计划表的练习,锻炼学生的写作能力及英语思维能力。
(三)情感目标
1.锻炼学生有目的、有计划地做事,使学生形成自主学习的能力,养成统筹安排的好习惯。
2.通过互相问答练习,锻炼学生的交际能力,加强同学之间的交流与合作,形成互帮互助的良好学习氛围。
三、教学重点难点
重点:学习Be going to结构描述将来要做的事。
难点:熟练准确地运用Be going to结构谈论自己打算做的事,完成计划表。
四、设计理念
以歌曲导入新课,利用活泼的多媒体画面,调动学生积极性,并穿插进行口语及听力练习,锻炼学生的听说能力。
对话教学采取先提出问题,带着问题听、理解的形式,注意了整体教学,整体理解;然后采取互相对话的形式练习、巩固。词汇和短语在语境中自然接触,很容易让学生领会。教学活动由易到难,设计任务型学习活动,在真实任务中引导学生主动思考,培养学生的创造性思维能力和交际能力。在日常教学中做到理论联系实际,学以致用,体会真实环境下的语言运用。
五、教学过程:
Step 1 Greeting
S: Good morning, Miss Jiao.
T: Good morning, boys and girls. First, let’s sing an English song together, OK?
S: OK.
(师生共唱歌曲Hello! How are you? 并做动作。)
Step 2 Presentation
Tell the students: Today we are going to learn Unit 1, Module 1. (边说边把be going to learn 结构写黑板上,并特别强调.)
Ask: What is he/she going to do at the weekend?
What are they going to do at the weekend?
Answer: He/She is going to check her email./have a piano lesson./revise for his test etc. (边问边出示多媒体图片,师生互相问答和个别问答相结合.)
Step 3 Practice
Part 2. Write the phrases under the pictures. Make sure the students can say the phrases quickly and clearly.
Step 4 Listen and answer
Tell the students: We’re going to listen to a dialogue between Daming and Betty.
Then ask: What’ Daming going to do at the weekend? What about Betty?
Ask the students to listen and answer the questions.
After listening,let the students answer the questions:
On Saturday morning,Daming is going to check his email and do his homework. In the afternoon,he’ going to have a piano lesson. In the evening, he’s going to have a party at a friend’s home and listen to some music with his friend.
Betty is going to buy some clothes on Saturday afternoon. She’s going to stay in bed on Sunday morning and revise for her test.
Step 5 Exercise
Part 4. Choose the correct answers, then check them.
Step 6 Listen and read
Listen to the dialogue again and read, then practice and act it out. (听录音跟读,并结合自己情况表演对话.)
Step 7 Exercise
Finish Part 7. Complete the diary about what Daming and Betty are going to do at the weekend. (完成日记并口头描述他们要做的事情.)
Step8 Summary
Today we have learned how to talk about what you are going to do at the weekend. You should know how to use be going to +do. For example:
What are you going to do at the weekend?
I’m going to check my email.
He/She is going to have a picnic.
We/They are going to get up early etc.
Step 9 Homework
1.Finish the exercises.
2. Make a dialogue about what you are going to do at the weekend in pairs.
