The first lesson

熟读课文，并整体理解课文
Teaching preparations:
Tape, recorder, pictures
Teaching steps:
Step one Presentation
1 listen to the tape twice
2 imitate
3 小组学习方式，熟读本课课文，并初步了解本课课文意思。（教师指导）
4 读课文，检查学生掌握情况
5 translate the text
注意Must, should, shouldn’t的用法
Step two Consolidation
1 Have a match
2 Read the text
Step three Homework
1 Listen to the tape for half an hour
2 Read the text five times at least.

Comment: If the students don’t learn the new words and new phrases, they can’t understand the text, most of the contexts are very difficult for them. So, we can first learn the new words , the new phrases, the difficult and the important drills, then they can understand the whole text more easily, just some new words. We can let them read the text, then let them
Ask the questions.



The second lesson

Comments: How to present the new phrases and how to teach them is not very clear and not in details. We can use the pictures or flashes of public signs on TV to teach, it’s very easy for the teachers to do and very easy for the students to understand and learn.
