    青青:今天早上坐公交上班,我给一个外国老太太让座。    胡子:你不愧是文明的首都市民。    青青:可是,老太太死活不肯坐。她说她很强壮,不需要特殊照顾。    胡子:在中国,给老人、小孩、孕妇让座是传统了。可能国外不是这样。    青青:可能是吧,只是当时我这个文明的首都市民有点尴尬。     Qing Qing: When I went to work by bus this morning, I gave my seat to a foreigner old woman. Hu Zi: You're a great capital citizen.
Qing Qing: But, she refused to take the seat. She said she was strong and needn't special care.
Hu zi: In China, it's tradition to give seat to the old, children and the pregnant. Maybe it's not that case overseas.
Qing Qing: Maybe. But I was quite embarrassed at that time.
