前两天，我们家买了四条小金鱼，我给每条小鱼都起了名字。小个子红额头的叫西子；大个子红额头的叫南子；身上有花纹的叫小花；那条黑色的金鱼我最喜欢，我叫它小黑子。
        刚从鱼市出来的时候，小黑子一会儿肚皮朝上，一会儿肚皮朝下，我们以为它快死了呢。可是回到家后，我们只要一藏起来，它就游得特别欢，但是我们一靠近，它就装死。我想它可能也看过《海底总动员》，想学尼莫装死，好让我们把它扔进下水道里，它就可以游向大海了。
        有一天，我发现它的一只眼睛不对劲，而且也不吃食物了。我和妈妈去听英语课之前，它还在慢慢地游，我觉得它是眼睛不舒服。可是等我们回来的时候，它就翻着肚皮，腮也不动，尾巴和鳍也不动。我赶紧去叫妈妈过来看，妈妈说，看来它是死了。我们把它拿出来包在纸里面，等到晚上把它埋在了雪堆里。我很伤心，心情一直很不好，妈妈说，我晚上睡觉时还半梦半醒地嘟哝着"我的小黑子，我的小黑子"......
        后来西子也死了，南子也死了，小花也死了，我伤心了很久很久。我发现其实鱼是很难养的，而且不管养什么动物，都要全心全意地去对待它，它才会健健康康地成长。

Two days ago, my family bought four small golden fish. I gave each of them a name. I called the small one with the red forehead "Xiao Xi", the big one with the red forehead "Xiao Nan". I named the one with patterns on its body "Xiao Hua". I liked the black one best. I called it "Xiao Hei".
After we came out from the fish market, Xiao Hei sometimes turned its belly up, sometime turned its belly down. We thought it would die soon. After we went back home, when we hid ourselves, it would swim so happily. But as long as we approached him, it would play dead. I thought it might have watched the movie Find Nemo and learned how to play dead so that we might throw it into the sewer and it would finally swim to the ocean.
One day, I found one of its eyes looked abnormal and it did not eat anything. Before my mother and I went to English class, it swam slowly. I thought that it might have eye problem. However, when we came back, it turned its belly up. Its gills did not move, neither did its tail and fins. I immediately asked my mother to have a look. My mum told me that it was dead. We took it out and wrapped it into a piece of paper and buried it in the snow at night. I was heartbroken and felt really sad. My mother told me, I even cried for "Xiao Hei, Xiao Hei..."  when I fell into sleep.
Some days later Xiao Xi passed away, so did Xiao Nan and Xiao Hua. I was really in deep grief for a long time. I found out that fish was difficult to take care of. No matter what kind of pets you have, you should try your best to look after them so that they could live a happy and healthy life.
