Method: show some funny pictures and talk about the students’ favorite comedies and comedians.

2. get students to read the passage quickly and summarize the main idea .

Step 3 2nd reading and listening (scan reading )
Aim : to get the top sentence of each paragraph
Methods : 1. teach some reading strategies
2. get students to listen and read the passage again, and find out the topic sentence of each paragraph.

Step 4 3rd reading ( intensive reading)
Aim : to obtain more details of the text
Methods : 1. group work
2. get students to read the passage in detail and answer three questions.

Aim : to develop students' ability of speaking
