As a singer-
actress, Mui had produced more than 40 albums and 45 movies, and captured
countless awards. At first, her low voice
distinguished herself as a dark horse among the
contemporary sweet voiced counterparts. As the years went by, she remained active on stage,
drawing in loyal fans in Chinese communities all over the world. Song like Bad Girl, Burning Fire and Red Lips, Intimate Lover, Daughter of Songs, Women Flower, Moonlight Before Bedside, etc, have become classics. Besides being a singer, Mui was also an

Mui was generous and giving. Her other passion besides her career was
charity,
continuously donating tends of thousands of Hong Kong Dollars.
The most
touching moment was her performance of a one-person wedding during the show. "To a song of the Setting Sun" ,Mui dressed in a beautiful white wedding gown and stepped slowly off the stage. Beautiful as she was, yet there wasn't a man to her love. Although she looked strong and independent, we saw her inner loneliness.
Jackie Chan said, "She passed away
peacefully and
beautifully. Her own last wish was that her fans and reporters could let her go quietly, not to cry and call out her name."
Now all these dreams have flown away with her. The ear is again ringing her deep and sensible
melody: "Tonight is breezing and I'm thinking of you. How tender and happy, my intimate lover, cause life was so enjoyable when you were you were with me..."
