audience for a television event on record, according to CBS, which aired the football game.

partial power outage at the Superdome, CBS said. The
network continued to

Super Bowl games hold the top three places for most-watched television events, with last year's attracting a record 111.3 million viewers. That was only
slightly higher than the 111.0 million viewers for the 2011 Super Bowl, according to Nielsen.
