Shanghai Vice Mayor Yang Xiong (right) and Vicente Gonzalez Loscertales, secretary-general of the Bureau of International Expositions, the Paris-based governing body of World Expos, unveil a precious Hetian jade seal bearing the logo of World Expo 2010 last night at a ceremony in Shanghai. The seal was presented as a gift to Loscertales. The ceremony recognized a number of projects by individuals and organizations working in the fields related to the Expo theme of urban development. Loscertales said that Expo 2010 has set a landmark for countries and cities seeking sustainable development and practices.
