荷兰埃茵霍温队和澳大利亚国家队主教练希丁克4月10日在接受荷兰一家电视节目采访时表示，德国世界杯后他将前往俄罗斯执教。

据路透社4月10日报道，希丁克在透露上述消息时表示，他和俄罗斯足协目前正就有关合同细节问题进行磋商，一旦达成协议，他将在世界杯后立即执教俄罗斯国家队。希丁克的经纪人也同时透露说，俄足协将为希丁克提供一份为期2年的执教合同，到期后希丁克可以选择续约2年。据报道，俄方最快将在8天内宣布聘任希丁克为俄罗斯国家队主教练的决定。

根据双方目前达成的协议，届时如果希丁克选择一份为期4年的合同，那么他将带领俄罗斯队冲击2010年的南非世界杯。作为一名世界著名教练，希丁克今年成功率领澳大利亚队32年里第一次打进世界杯决赛圈。而俄罗斯队则在预选赛中折戟沉沙。

上个月希丁克宣布将在本赛季结束后离开荷兰埃茵霍温队。4月9日，埃茵霍温队取得了历史上的第19次荷兰甲级联赛冠军。2002年，希丁克带领韩国国家队历史性地杀入世界杯半决赛，之后他返回荷兰重新执教埃茵霍温队。2003年，埃茵霍温队就夺得了联赛冠军。2005年，该队在希丁克带领下再次夺得荷兰联赛冠军，同时该队还闯进了欧洲冠军联赛半决赛。在世界杯的舞台上，现年59岁的希丁克在带领韩国队杀入半决赛之前，还曾带领荷兰队闯入过半决赛。

谈到同俄罗斯足协的谈判，希丁克透露说，此前他曾经和英超切尔西俱乐部老板、俄罗斯大亨阿布拉莫维奇进行过交流。后者鼎力推荐希丁克入主俄罗斯队，希望希丁克以其丰富的执教经验和先进的足球理念推动俄罗斯足球水平更上一个台阶。

俄罗斯国家队主教练一职自从前主教练尤里·肖明世界杯后辞职以来一直空缺。谈及未来的执教前景，希丁克表示："作为国家队主教练，俄方希望我放开手脚，以我自己的方式去执教，就像我当年执教荷兰、韩国和澳大利亚队时那样。在执教方面，我没有任何障碍。"他同时表示，在接手俄罗斯队之后，他将组成一个由荷兰和俄罗斯本土教练相结合的教练班底，并解释说俄籍教练的任务就是帮助他摸清俄国家队的问题所在，以便有的放矢。

Dutchman Guus Hiddink says he is almost certain to take over as coach of Russia after the World Cup.

"We are working out the minor details of the contract and when that is finished I will join them," Australia and PSV Eindhoven coach Hiddink told the Holland Sport TV programme on Monday.

His agent Cees van Nieuwenhuizen told Dutch TV the contract will last two years with an option for two more. Hiddink is expected to be named as Russia coach within the next eight days.

Russia failed to qualify for the World Cup in Germany, which runs from June 9 to July 9. If he agrees his four-year deal with the Russian Football Union (RFU), Hiddink will be in charge until the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Hiddink is part-time coach of Australia, who qualified for the World Cup for the first time since 1974.

John Boultbee, head of high performance for the Football Federation of Australia, said his organisation had known for a while that Hiddink would be leaving the job.

"Guus informed us some time ago that he was looking at several offers for after the World Cup," Boultbee said in a statement.

"We have known for some time that it was not going to work after the World Cup and have put steps in place for the future.

"However, our focus and Guus's is squarely on the next three months, he is in constant contact with us about the detailed planning for the World Cup campaign and he is Aussie Guus rather than Ruski Guus for a few months yet."

Hiddink announced last month that he would end a four-year spell at PSV by leaving the Dutch club at the end of this season.

On Sunday, PSV clinched their 19th league title and sixth under Hiddink, who also managed the team in the late 1980s.

Since his arrival in Eindhoven in 2002, PSV have won the title in 2003 and the double two years later, when they also reached the Champions League semi-finals.

The 59-year-old coach reached the semi-finals of the last two World Cups with Netherlands and South Korea respectively.

During his negotiations with the RFU, Hiddink said he also held talks with English Premier League champions Chelsea's billionaire Russian owner Roman Abramovich.

"I spoke with Abramovich, who wants to help lift the Russian national team to a higher level," said Hiddink.

Abramovich, who is financing an ambitious programme designed to improve Russian soccer, is a close friend of RFU chief Vitaly Mutko.

The Russians have been without a coach since November when Yuri Syomin quit after they failed to qualify for the World Cup.

Hiddink said he would have a free hand to run the team the way he wanted.

"As national coach you are given a free hand to work like you are used to, like I have as coach of Netherlands, South Korea and Australia," said Hiddink. "Nobody puts the slightest obstacle in your way."

He said last month that his decision to leave PSV was caused by a combination of factors. This season Hiddink publicly clashed with chairman Ron Westerhof.

Hiddink said his backroom team would be a combination of Dutch and Russian staff. "I will form a Dutch staff but also with a Russian who knows Russian football," said Hiddink. "We have to analyse the situation and get the team afloat."
